Lewis County Government is currently accepting applications for the position of Solid Waste Director to oversee operations at the Lewis County Transfer Station.
This is a very important leadership position that is responsible for managing daily operations, supervising employees, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe, efficient facility for our community.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven management experience
Experience supervising employees
Ability to operate heavy machinery
Basic mechanical knowledge
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Good work references
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting pay: $20–$22 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)

Mandatory state retirement through TCRS
1 sick day earned per month
1 week of vacation after first year of full-time employment
