The Lewis County Commission's "Committee of the Whole" will have a special called meeting on Monday, July 13, 2026 to discuss the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget, including the Solid Waste Department and School System budget. The meeting will take place at 6:00PM in the Commission Chambers of the historic courthouse, and as always, the public is welcome to attend.

The Lewis County Board of Commissioners will not be meeting on the third Monday of July. Instead, they will be meeting on Monday, July 27, 2026 in order to vote on the Fiscal Year 2027 budget, while conducting other business. This meeting will start at 6:00pm in the Commission Chambers of the historic Courthouse. As always, this meeting is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.
