NOTICE: Commission Meeting rescheduled to 9/14

ADDENDUM 9/8/26: All constable appointments are required to bring a psychological evaluation to the September 14th meeting.

The regular County Commission meeting has been re-scheduled to Monday, September 14, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.

During that meeting the Lewis County Board of Commissioners will be appointing an individual to the vacant office of 1st, 6th, 7th and 8th District Constable and 7th District School Board Member until an election can be held to fill the positions on November 3, 2026, to unexpired term(s).

Anyone interested in being appointed to this position should contact Lewis County Clerk, Sandra Clayton, at (931) 628-2504.
