PUBLIC NOTICE AMENDMENT: Commission Meeting on July 20, 2026 @ 6:00PM

The Lewis County Commissioners “Committee of the Whole” will be having a Special Called Meeting on Monday, July 20, 2026 to review and discuss the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 county budget, including but not limited to the school’s budget and Solid Waste’s budget. This meeting will start at 6:00pm in the Commission Chambers of the historic Courthouse. As always, this meeting is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Committee Budget Meeting for July 13

The Lewis County Commission's "Committee of the Whole" will have a special called meeting on Monday, July 13, 2026 to discuss the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget, including the Solid Waste Department and School System budget. The meeting will take place at 6:00PM in the Commission Chambers of the historic courthouse, and as always, the public is welcome to attend.

PSA from the Lewis County Election Commission

"Due to a miscommunication error with Spectrum and a recent digital phone upgrade, the Election Commission office has experienced significant IT issues. Our computers are now back up and running, and we currently have one working phone with a new temporary number. We are working diligently with Covenant Technologies, along with assistance from Michaelena Kelley at the courthouse, to restore our original phone number through Spectrum. We hope to have this issue resolved soon.
