REQUEST TO BID: Landfill Salvage Metal

Lewis County Government is seeking bids for a three-month contract for October, November and December of 2025 for the removal of salvage metal from the Lewis County Transfer Station.


The bid must hold Lewis County harmless for any liability, and the contractor will be responsible for the reclamation of all refrigerants contained in the salvage merchandise. The bid must include any charges for hauling expenses if there will be any.


All bids must be sealed in an envelope and mailed or delivered to the address below. Bids will be accepted until Friday, September 26, 2025 at 12:00pm, at which point they will be opened.
